Fail to Plan, Plan to fail...fail...fail...fail

I hear it in my head over and over again, yet still I lounge around. I go about my day willy-nilly as it comes. I spend my time hoping I'm on time and worrying that I have missed an appointment or a big day. So I will get up tomorrow and get back on track! Yup- I said it every day for over 20 days now. I have yet to get back on track... I have yet to even get close to it. I have to get out of this F U N K !!!! So I hear my sweet sweet friend in my head again, "Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail" then the reverberating echo  fail, fail, fail..... So my precious sweet friend got me a gorgeous planner today that I am going to make myself stay in love with (which will keep me in line).

It is soooooo pretty!  Thanks Renee! Did I tell you how wonderful my dear friend Renee is?
When I finally got home today, I knew I wanted to start working in this planner.... I do have mild planner fever. I have been drooling over Erin Condren and Kikki K for months... but I am not willing to put that kind of money into self organization- and why should I? Renee found these planners at 75% off today and because she is a ninja- knew just where to take them (to Staples) to put them on a heavy duty spiral binding... I would never have thought of that. I love pretty things. But I really love pretty things when they don't cost a lot of money. Back to where I was... when I came home tonight I started on my planner. I pulled out some card-making/scrap-booking/crafting stuff I had on hand and got to work. Here is my current February planner page.

I love how pretty my pages look. I love that my existing appointments are written down with the times! Who knew!!! I love the little clips I made to keep my pages where I want them. As of this moment I feel like I can conquer the world, one organized moment at a time! Now just to look into those goals I set (but not tonight).
So, I haven't been a complete bum lately. I have been busy with school and Church, and working the concession stand for our school ball teams. I have even made time to do a few crafts. I will leave you with a few pics of what has been going on this month, then tomorrow I will be back with a  fresh log post showing you how committed I am to you.  Thanks for reading and spending time with me.
Finally had Eli's 8th birthday party

My lame attempt at a photo booth...

Our new reading nook at school

My $2 bulletin board

I de-cluttered!

More to come soon....Thanks again for reading.....

Here it is... my first ever blog entry. I started this blog three years ago and never put up the first post! So here I am, saying hello...to no-one.  That is okay too though. I want to use this blog to make myself accountable for my new goals. Last week my goal was...to set goals. So I set some goals. I will post a great little picture for you here....
This new laptop is super nifty! I can access everything through my Google account. Love it! So those are my big, lofty goals for 2015... will I make it- who knows the kids are trying to test me on the yelling issue right now... so we will see! Be positive... I love my boys so much- and I just yelled at them. I am just going to have to give myself some growing room.... it is going to take a while to undo everything that I have done. So I got up this morning at 8:30 and the house was quiet! Yayyy. That made it super easy to have over an hour of personal devotion time with the Lord. Praying I can stick with it and get up early every day next week to have that morning quiet time in addition to my nightly devo. time. We will see... Praying for strength on that one.. sometimes you have to forsake breathing to keep things quiet and peaceful in this house.  On to goal 2... weight loss.... what a struggle. This is my big goal this year. If I lose 1 pound per week I can lose 56 pounds this year and be back to pregnancy weight... only 7 years later...and if I lose between 1 and 2 pounds per week then I can be back to my pre-wedding weight... that would be lovely. This would make goal 7 much more attainable...being more fun and having more fun with the kiddos. My plan is to let you know every week how my fitness goals are coming along- this is my goal  number 5...blog weekly. This is my year to stick with my goals! What are your goals for 2015? What are your goals for this month? Here is my 30 day challenge.
I printed much of my 2015 home planner for free herehttp://www.thehandmadehome.net/2014/06/free-planner-and-calendar-more-2015/
